Brick and Mortar, a stunning historic and industrial converted warehouse located in downtown Wichita, Kansas, served as the perfect backdrop for this simple elegant Kansas wedding. From the modern industrial aesthetic of the building, to the layout of having the ceremony outdoors while still being able to enjoy the reception indoor, added character and charm to the event. The ceremony took place outside the industrial building with a white tent covering the guests from the sun. The bride wore an elegant, simple wedding dress with a big bow on the back, adding an extra touch of elegance to the event. The décor was minimalistic, with simple white altar flowers, white drapery and white candle arrangements with a small touch of greenery throughout the venue. The bride and groom exchanged vows under a simple arch which was covered on the sides with soft delicate white flowers and white flowy fabric surrounding it. The reception took place just a few feet away from the ceremony, with the brick walls and industrial-style furnishings providing a perfect backdrop as they did their first dances and cut the cake. The décor was simple yet elegant. The guests enjoyed a lovely meal, followed by a surprise guest, willie the wildcat, because the bride was a Kansas State Cheerleader in college! Go Cats! As your Kansas wedding photographer, and one of the many wedding photographers in Wichita, Kansas, I vow to capture all the emotional, the elegant, the candid moments, big and small, for you to cherish forever!
